Stillness--It's a Choice

October 9, 2012
I was journaling about wanting to spend more time with the Lord while my husband was gone on his trip.   "Father, show me Your plan," I asked.  These words came:

"Be still and know that I am God.

There's a quiet hush I want you to experience, no music, no phones, nor internet or distractions.  Just Me and you and quiet.

Are you ready?

Quiet your mind."

Then I saw myself walking down this darkened hallway toward a lighted space.  I reached out with my hands and lightly brushed the walls on either side, tentatively moving forward, not knowing what was before me.

I entered a large lecture hall with stadium seating (like a university lecture hall).  I am alone with incredible LIGHT.  Ecstatic yet totally at peace.

I heard, "Take a seat."  I climbed the middle section of stairs and took a seat about halfway up.  Putting my elbows on the desktop, I leaned forward in anticipation.

"Be still.  Stillness is pregnant with possibility but it is perceived as an empty waste.  In the stillness I speak My best lines of truth and you have time to consider and engage, tasting and chewing. Selah.
There is none like Me in all the earth.  Why do you run from one blog to the next to glean some jewel of delight when I am the Maker of the jewels and know how to delight you more than any other?"

Tears of repentance ran with abandon.  "Forgive me Father for going to any other but You.  Forgive me and draw me into Your presence."

"Do you have time?"

"Yes, Father, my times are in Your hands.  Use it as You will."

Fall Feasts of the Lord and the Bride

Good Morning
This is one of my most favorite times of year and since I learned about the feasts of the Lord, it is becoming my very favorite.  (That was not a great writer's sentence, but you get the gist.)

God gave me an awesome opportunity and assignment this year to teach the Fall Feasts focusing on their importance and connection with the Bride.  While I've taught on the feasts numerous times and the Bride is always part of the teaching, He wanted the full focus to be there this year.

We were able to video tape it and while the quality on the DVD's we made is better than the YouTube version, I feel prompted to share it with you here.

Yom Kippur begins this Wednesday night at sundown and Feast of Tabernacles begins this next Sunday, September 30 at sundown.  May you see with new eyes God's love and plan for His Bride.

Bless you,

His Time

Attempt #???  I have so many things I could share and yet don't seem to find the motivation to discipline myself to a blog.  Does that sound at all familiar?  Plus there are so many voices being heard these days, why do I need to add mine to an already melodious symphony of praise?

Yet, each of us has a unique sound, an unequaled frequency to bring to the mix.  Thus, I am pressed to give blogging another try.

I want to share some journal notes with you...ones I believe are just as applicable to you as they were to me when I wrote them.   Over some 35 years I've been fairly diligent about keeping a daily journal with the Lord.   A bookshelf stands in my office space filled from top to bottom with journals of every kind and each one has treasures of truth I discovered in my time with Him.

Recently I was wrestling with circumstances beyond my control and finding it difficult to let go and let God work things out.  One morning I heard these words in my spirit:

Peace Beloved, Peace.  Sink down into My will.  Rest in My hands.  Your times ARE in My hands.  Really.  Learn to turn your ears to hear My voice and your eyes to see Me.  I am never in a hurry.  I make all things work together perfectly like a fine watch.  No winding necessary.  Precision watchmanship.  Sequenced rhythm, consistent forward motion.

Pause and calmly consider what I’ve just said.

The face remains fixed as the hands move around and around.  Fix your eyes on Me and let Me move the circumstances and influences as I see fit.  I will not skip a beat or delay My movement forward.  Regardless of how it appears I AM leading you in triumph.  There are triumphs along the way that you may or may not see.  But instead of wearing down, you are gaining strength.  You will run and not be weary.  You will walk and not faint.  Your ARE rising up on eagles wings.

If you are wrestling with the circumstances in your life--fix your focus on Him and let Him move you forward in peace.
Shalom...
